of New Applications - MT or TX

ROLE/ JOB SUMMARY: |
|
Responsible for
working on the development of new applications
for our molecules as well identifying potential
new molecules that are related to our core
silicon technology, including new potential
delivery modes of existing molecules.
Must work with
Customers, Tool manufacturers, other suppliers,
Internal Technology resources and external
technology providers. Network with external
entities to understand roadmaps, process
concerns and areas of opportunity as it fits in
with our core silicon technologies. This
includes both solid and gaseous forms of silicon
materials, intermediates and derivatives. |

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: |
 |
Developing
relationships with key technology providers,
equipment manufacturers and suppliers
|
 |
Issue and
opportunity identification both external and
internal. Using our technology platform and
market drivers to match up solutions.
|
 |
Analyzing data
and opportunities in order to develop a
potential business plan describing the
opportunity, and our relative strengths,
weaknesses and threats. |
 |
Ownership of
the process of identifying and developing
opportunities to include coordination and
influence of internal and external resources
that are required to properly evaluate,
develop, approve and eventually implement.
|
 |
Responsible for
the delivery of “white paper” reports
detailing the business case utilizing a basic
SWOT type format |
 |
Work planning
and execution for the various development
projects |
 |
Negotiation
with external and internal entities concerning
terms and conditions, potential business
models, pricing and valuation analysis and
deliverables |
 |
Heading ad hoc
or formalized teams that will include multiple
disciplines within the organization in order
to achieve the desired objectives
|
 |
Periodic
presentations to Commercial Development and
Planning management team. |
 |
Presentations
with potential customers, enablers and
suppliers to strongly influence our position
and their perception/understanding of our
capabilities |
 |
Work closely
with Technology, Engineering and Operations |
|
|
REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: |
|
Technical/Professional: |
 |
BS in Business
or a technical area with 5+ year’s experience,
or an equivalent combination of education and
experience required. |
 |
Commercial
experience is a plus. |
|
|
Technological: |
 |
Must be
intellectually curious and possess the ability
to remain on task in spite of distractions.
|
 |
Must have the
ability to bring together diverse interests in
order to accomplish the objective.
|
 |
Must be
strongly driven to deliver in a timely manner.
Must possess conceptual AND organizational
